Video Ray mini ROV is the
smallest underwater ROV in the world. The small size of it makes
it possible to videotape objects that are too small for a diver
to fit or are too dangerous to dive. ROV also has unlimited time
submerged so working at great depths is more economical with ROV.
Power is feeded through the cable from surface and operating is
controlled from a special panel by a ROV pilot also from surface.
Video Ray ROV has been tested to 150 metres depth. Options available
for example manipulator, ultrasoundmeter, radiation meter, autopilot,
underwater positioning system and scanning sonar device.
